Odisha Lokayukta Bill Passed In Assembly
Odisha Legislative Assembly on 14 February passed the Odisha Lokayukta Bill 2014 with provision of keeping Chief Minister, ex-Chief Ministers, other ministers and public servants under the purview of a six-member anti-corruption panel.With this passage of the Bill, Odisha became the first state to enact the law after the Central Act was passed in Parliament in December 2013.

Arvind Kejriwal Resigned As Chief Minister of Delhi
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal resigned from his post on 14 February 2014 after his government’s bid to table the Janlokpal Bill in the Assembly failed. Opposition parties BJP and Congress termed the bill as unconstitutional and voted against its tabling. He sent his resignatiom to LT. Governor to Nejeeb Jung within 48 days after he became the Chief Minister of Delhi on 28 December 2013.
